Suggestions for Sweet Sixteens

Candle Lighting Ceremony:
A nice touch you can add to your party is a candle lighting ceremony in which you honor special friends and/or family members. (Very similar to the candle lighting at a bar/bat mitzvah.) Simply write down a poem or a few nice thoughts about the individual(s) and pick a song you associate with them. You can do one for each candle or combine candles. This can be a nice addition to the party.

Father & Daughter Dance:
The guest of honor can dance with her father to a song that is meaningful to the two of them. We would suggest the dance be right after she blows out her candles on her cake.

Signing Board:
This can be as simple or intricate as you would like. Start by using photographs of the guest of honor and attach them to foam core or thick poster board. Leave room for the guests to offer best wishes for her birthday. This can be located by the main entrance or gift table and is a great momento for the guest of honor. If you do not have the resources, we can have one of our designers create a digital collage and print it on poster board for you.

If you would like to do a more intricate signing board, we can have one of our artists create a caricature of the birthday girl. Several packages are available. Please provide several weeks to produce the artwork.

CD Party Favors:
Consider giving your guests a cd with your favorite music selections as a party favor. The cover and labels can incorporate photos of the guest(s) of honor or any other information you feel is necessary. You can find more examples on our "Additional Services" page. This service is available even if you have not contracted us to provide your entertainment. Please allow a four week lead time. Call for more information.

Slide Show/Picture Montage:
We will produce a 5-10 minute video montage utilizing still photographs you provide, accompanied by music selections of your choice. Through animations, colorful transitions, titles and graphics we will create a memorable moment your guests will be sure not to forget. You can receive a copy on VHS or DVD. Montages can be shown on a large television (not included) or projected on our Video Screens. They can also be distributed to your guests as party favors.
