Many beginning djs seem to get their hands on this catalog. Although they have a fairly large selection, you are paying for shipping from California. You may want to price your equipment at local stores to see if it would be more cost effective without shipping. You can call them or log on their website to receive a free catalog. I do know friends who have used their services continually and been very satisified with their service.

Although you may know them for cd subscription services, they have recently jumped on to the equipment scene. Some of their prices are high, but you will find a large portion of their video equipment to be significantly lower than the competition. They are prompt in service and where very helpful with questions. Ask for "Preacher".

Guitar Center or Sam Ash Music Stores
Both stores have a dj department, but there selection can often be poor and in most cases they only offer lower end equipment. You will most likely not find high end products in stock. These stores are great for quick items in emergencys. If you shop at a store regularly, try to get to know the sales staff as they are usually good about discounting equipment to loyal customers.

If you blew out your speakers, sorry, but more importantly, here's where you need to go to get them fixed. They are great to work with, have a reasonable turn around time and their prices are fair. They also repair equipment besides speakers and do warranty work for many major brands. They do sell speakers and other limited equipment. Their website is new and does not have a lot of information
